This is Heidi's fourth litter, and each litter has averaged four to six babies each time. Heidi is just an awesome Mom, she dotes on her babies and is very attentive each time she gives birth. Heidi and Mr. Peekie have been paired for two of her four litters.
I will be posting photo's in the next couple of weeks when mom and babies are settled more. Just a quick note about Bristols babies born June 15, 2011, four of the five have found new fur-ever homes. I have decided to keep the last female to replace Bristol after breeding her one more time before retirement. The baby remaining has been named "Pixie". Details about Pixie will be posted soon on the "Our Herd" page of the Hedgie Whisperers website.
