New babies!!

Two runts in the litter and Mom is very attentive!

We are pleased to announce the birth of Pixies first litter of hog let's born November 19. Both mom and babies appear to be doing fine. Pixie and Scooter are the proud parents of four little ones, one of which is the runt of the litter and thriving right along side of its siblings. Pixie appears to be a good mom now that she has gotten past the initial shock of having four little ones to tend to. We temporarily removed Pixies litter box as she gave birth to the little ones under the liner in her pen under neath the litter box of her exercise wheel. So far she has stayed with the babies and only ventured out once for a very quick snack. The smell of the fresh veggies with diced apple and hard boiled egg proved to be to tempting lol. Will post pictures soon!

On another note. Bristol's crew have opened their eyes and are actively exploring their moms pen. They are just adorable and will soon be available for adoption. Two are High white pintos, one pinto snowflake, and one grey snowflake. All of the babies in this litter are female and are being handled daily now. Good friendly temperaments!
