More News about our Little poker lady! & Herd

As most of you know; Hedgie Whisperers is planning to increase their herd with a new Algerian Grey pinto female.  We will be watching her grow with excitement and anticipation of having awesome healthy calm babies of her own this coming fall...we look forward to breeding her with our "stud" male "Mr. Peekie".

As Heidi round's the final stretch of her gestation period, it is ever more apparent every day that she is getting closer to having her new little ones.  She definitely is becoming uncomfortable with the amount of extra weight gain but remains true to her nature of being an avid 5k a night wheeler!!  We continue to watch her closely over the past few weeks while sneaking in some scale weighing times.

We are happy to report that Heidi has gone from 13.4 oz to 1 lb .14 oz's since time of breeding up till today.  A very healthy weight gain for our veteran lady Heidi who is working on having her third litter.  To date, Heidi has delivered four from her first litter and six from her second litter and we are so excited about the numbers she may have from first time sire and suiter Mr. Peekie. 

We are receiving rave reviews from some of our owners of previous litter little ones for our new line of Whisper and Bucket wheels shipped to us from our friend CSW.  We are pleased to report that Sheena is now getting much more sleep in the evenings since she adopted the new Whisper wheel for Meeko.  Sheena reports that Meeko just loves his new wheel and will be coming to visit us in the summer to say hello and let us see his phenominal progress in his new fur-ever home with Sheena.  Wtg Sheena, we are so glad to have helped you with cage alternatives and wheels.  Sheena also reports that she is now listing her starter cage and all accessories for sale.  Asking price is $80.00.  As always, "Stay Quilled".
