Hi again everyone! Well we are happy to report that all of the little one's are adjusting very well to their new Fur-ever homes. We have updates to the names from the two litters gone to their new Fur-ever homes, and they are:
Willow, Marshmellow, Horatio, Penny, Tetley, Meeko, Thistle, Simon, Miho,
Our dark standard female - Dec. 23 pick -up and one Male Cinnamon Pinto still with us (no name) although I call him peekie alot as he likes to peek out at me from his sleeping bag or blanket when its night time treat time and he hears me shuffling around cleaning out everyone's cages from the day's events. :-)
Our latest departure was a Cinnamon Snowflake pinto female, who seems to be very happy in her new home with Shannon and family, see Shannon's comments here:

Thistle (the name of the adorable cinnamon snowflake pinto you gave to us today) is now cozy in her new cage. We put a shirt in her cage for her to get used to our smell and she seems to be doing well. She's just sleeping for the most part I've put some food in her cage but she hasn't eaten anything just yet. Thought you would like an update on the arrival home :) Thanks again so much!!

From Rebecca:
I'm still awake because my new hedgehog is so awesome! She remains nameless so far because I can't decide what name she suits. Otherwise, she's adjusting amazingly, I have her in a make-shift cage that my dad and I put together and we're getting a real one later today. She's eating well, coming out of her ball pretty quickly and exploring. She has yet to use her litter box but I've been putting her little presents in the box hoping it'll help her figure it out.
Thanks again for everything, you've brought up a perfect little hedgehog!

From Hannah:
I always bath him in the morning- he loves it. I always rinse him after, he loves that part. He always lays super calm and lets his legs relax when I pour little cups of warm water over him. When I'm bathing him I only put enough water in the basin that he can still walk. Then after a few minutes I add a little more so he can swim but then hold my hand in the water in case he needs a break :) He seems quite happy. He doesn't ever curl up anymore when I pick him up. I put a shirt of mine in with him the past couple nights so he could get used to my smell.

These are just a few of the emails I received back on how well the little one's are doing. Its so exciting to see that everyone is adjusting so well with their new owners. With only one more little one to find a Fur-ever home, most people have picked up the little one's well ahead of schedule to enjoy them over their Christmas break. Until next time, "Stay Quilled"
