The babies are leaving the nest to their special new homes :)

The more litters I raise, the more I think this is the most exciting yet the most sad time of the baby litter process.  The babies have started to go to their new homes with their very special owners.  Three babies were picked up last night, one with Sheena who promises to have the biggest suckie hedgie every LOL and two with Valerie from Hedgehog Ville.

More babies are being picked up on Friday and Saturday and there are still five more available with great temperaments.  They are so cute and cuddly and special, its no wonder everyone has such a hard time deciding.  Personalities are showing now more and more every day, and their activity levels are increasing each day.  I am adding a note from one of the ladies who bought a cinnamon snowflake male and how excited she was and is with him.  Sheena called the baby "Meeko", here is her comments:
Hi Sharron!

Just thought I would let you know that we love him already! He let us both hold him as soon as we got him home and he licked both us! Just curious as to what the big black blanket is for and if you fed him already?

Thanks so much again!

Its great to see the bonding, stay tuned to see how the progress of the babies leaving for their new homes goes.  As always, "stay quilled"!

  1. He continues to amaze me and I love him more everday. He's been using his litterbox, wheel, eatting and drinking. We cuddled for an hour last night. He slept in my hand while I pet him. I had out again later and he was sleeping under the collar of my sweater for probably another hour. It seems that we can't get enough of eachother! Thank you so much, this is what I really needed! My mother met him last night also and has dubbed herself Grandma to our little Meeko. I hate leaving him to go to work but love coming home to him and waking up to him each morning! Thanks again and we'll keep in touch!
